CHIRUTHA MOVIE REVIEW BY MEGA FAN !!

Chirutha movie started at 11.00 PMexactly and the opening scene is Surya, was threatened by goons. But surya revolts and he returned back to home. Later he was attacked by goons and was killed by villain in this process Suryas wife also hurted severely . Charan is the son of Surya and Master Akash(Sonof Puri Jagannath) played the Jr charan role saw the blood shed of villain killing his father.

Charan mother was hospitalised and needed lot of money for the operation. Thanikella Bharani came to the rescue of the situation and asks the kid to go to jail instead of some one. Charan agrees for that and he went to boston school.

Charan spends 12 years in prison and he is grown up now. Charan introduction was terrific and there was a fight in the jail which we can call as first. We have already seen part of the scene in the first trailor aired. Charan jail mate was Venu madhav and there were quite a few comedy scenes betweencharan and venumadhav.Charan completed 12 years in jail and released from jail.

Charan tried to trace his mother. After that Charan goes to bangkok. There he works in the travel company run by MS Narayana along with other comedians. Ali introduction is hilarious. Neha sharma also visits Bangkok along with her friends and manager M S Narayana. There was lot of comedy scenes between the whole team at Bangkok. There follows a third song (Ivvalee cherukunnadi kala) of the movie. one of the local goon teases nehasharma, Charan rescued her and in process there was an excellent fight just before the interval.

Hero is working as a body guard for heroine after he rescues her and the gang goes for a boat ride. In this process they lost completely and reached an island. In the no man island they found a old house and spent some time there. There was 4th song in the movie in the form of Maro Maroo. Charan cracked a joke with heroine and says that you are dancing better than mumaithkhan. Prakash raj is the father of the Heroine searches for his daughter and Charan. Prakash Raj is a big shot and inquires about CHARAN background.

There follows another song in the movie and the song is love you raa love you raa. Finally prakash Raj could able to locate young couple in the island. By that heroine and hero are in deep love. PR trades with Charan and promises Charan that he will give his mother in lieu of Heroine. Charan leaves heroine. There was a beautifully picturised song ' Chamka chamka'. This song is highlight of the movie.

Villian who teases Heroine in the first half enters and Kidnaps heroine. PR requests Charan to get back Heroine from the clutches of villian. There was a secrete revealed and one has to see the movie to know what is the secrete. Finally charan kills the goons and villains to get back Neha.

Happy Days Movie Review-Go and watch it Happily :)

Story:
happydays Chandu (Sandesh), Rajesh (Nikhil), Shankar (Vamsi Krishna), Tyson (Raahul), Madhu (Tamanna), Appu (Gayatri Rao) and Sangeeta (Monali Chowdary) are a bunch of freshers in a college. They all together make a fine gang. Chandu - Madhu, Rajesh - Appu Shankar - Sangeeta soon build up their relation and become pairs. Tyson - a nerd with a heart of gold - ends up falling in love with a senior Sravanthi (Sonia). The rest of the story is how they spend their four years of their education in the campus and express love for their respective dear ones.

Artists Performance

Happy days Main male leads: This film boasts of perfect casting. You see characters, not the actors. All the new comers performed in an extremely natural way. And by the time movie ends, we end up understanding the characteristics and traits of each and every one. As per the footage and likeability of the character is concerned Varun Sandesh takes the top ranking. He is extremely lovable and his striking resemblance to hero Siddhardh is an added advantage. He understood the character very well. The next is Raahul. Lots of credit should be given to Sekhar Kammula for penning such a beautiful character and Raahul suited it to the tee. Nikhil is pretty good as the tapori. He got considerable importance towards the latter half of the second half. Vamsi Krishna is a pretty good actor, but did not get enough scope to perform. The two guys who had donned the role of seniors are good.

happy days Main female leads: Tamanna is the main heroine of the film. She is very good and she oozed natural expressions in all her scenes. Gayatri Rao is also very natural and likable. However, it is Sonia who steals the show with her extremely natural and at times subtle expressions. Monali Chowdary is good as the bad girl. Kamalinee Mukherjee did the role of an extremely glamorous lecturer and she dubbed her own voice. She is cool.

Technical Departments:

happy daysStory - screenplay - direction: There is not much of a story in this film. It is about the love of four couples spread over four years. What makes the big difference to this simple and plain story is director's ability to create interest throughout the film with neat screenplay. He brought out tremendous emotion in the scenes of separation and reunion between the pairs.

The following scenes standout:

1. The separation scene of Tyson and Sravanthi is very fascinating.
2. Rajesh’s reaction after he beats up his friend Shankar.
3. The way he ended the love thread between Tyson and Sravanthi. If Sravanthi accepted Tyson's love, then it would appear that the director is giving messages that it is ok to love your senior girls in the college.

The following dialogues are so meaningful and true:

1. Love and fear can never coexist.
2. A boy's character is judged by the kind of girls he roams with.
3. The college life may fail you to achieve great academic rewards, but it will definitely give you the ability to achieve any thing.
4. College Days are Happy Days. The days that follow college days are purposeful days.

However the following aspects of the film are unwarranted:

1. Rajesh's hair style in the beginning appears artificial. And he keeps using Telangana dialect though he is from Proddutur (Rayalaseema).
2. Tyson doing some scientific tricks. The extent of the tricks should have been limited.
3. The character of Panduranga Rao was introduced well. But there is no ending to that character.

I could not resist from bringing the comparison of the ego clash between lead pair in this film to that of Kushi film. In that film Bhumika Chawla had a clash with Pawan because he peaked at her midriff. In this film the ego clash comes out because the guy wants to kiss the girl.

happy days Other departments: Music of the film is excellent and the two songs in the first half (music + visuals) take you to the different level. Micky J Meyer is just superb. Other department that dominates the movie is great cinematography. Visuals are a feast to the eyes. Vijay C Kumar who followed single color pattern for Anand and Godavari came up with different color sceheme for this film so that the visuals match the vibrancy of college atmosphere. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh deserves special mention. He made sure the scenes flow in the film is smooth.

happy days Analysis: First half of the film is neat though some of us might feel that Sekhar Kammula kind of emotional scenes are not there. But in the second half of the film, he added good emotional episodes and made sure that you get connected with the film. The plus points of the film are direction, fresh cast, music, cinematography and editing. On the flip side, the pace of the film slackens at times. Sekhar Kammula who did female oriented films like Anand and Godavari came up with a film of different genre this time. The genre might be changed, but his honesty and filmmaking abilities are in tact. If he sticks to his sensibilities, Sekhar Kammula can never make a bad film. Go and watch 'Happy Days'

1st Half-Report :: As per the sources who watched the Movie in Elure the 1st half has just finished. The Movie is good so far. The Dances live upto the expectations and fights are good. Ram Chanrantej's acting skills are also good and resembles Pawankalyan in most of the scenes. The Story is very Routine but Puri has managed to maitain the tempo. The only drawback they have reported is the Movie has missed the Puri type of Comedy Track.

Final Report ::Show completed. Fans are satisfied with Charantej's dances. According to the fans the First half is better than the Second half. The main drawabacks of the are the Routine story and a very weak Comedy Track.

People who don't want to loose the thrill(ofcoz there is no thrill in the movie in reality) can simply jump to other pages.. Others Go Ahead...

STORY LINE WITH ANALYSIS:

The Movie starts off with the hero shown as a kid. Hero Charan's Father role is played by Surya (SHOW fame/Doctor in SD-MBBS not TAMIL HERO SURYA :)). Due to his straight forward attitude he gets killed by the bad guy, played by Aasish Vidhyardhi and his Mother gets hospitalised in the same episode. Now Charan becomes helpless with no money to save his mother and accepts a deal to get into the Jail in order to save his mother. Charan makes freinds with Venumadhav in the Jail. He gets out of the Jail and gets a Job of a Guide in Bangkok. He meets the Heroine there and the scenes between the Lead Pair are not that impressive.

The fisrt song of the Movie Yamaho..Yama has just started.The first song is over. Charan has the ease in his dances and has succeded in reaching the expectations of the fans. With Huge expectations among the audience Charan seems to be OK with his acting capabilities so far. MS Narayana plays the Boss to Charantej. In bangkok the scenes between the Lead Pair continue and the 2nd song Ivvale.. has started now. This song too starts off without a proper lead and situation.

Ali's introduction has recieved a good applause in the theater. But his comedy track is not so impressive. The fight which comes when the goons tease the heroine is good. It has been picturised with a Karate Backdrop and Charan is impressive. After the fight Heroine's father, Prakash Raj asks Charantej to be his daughters Body Gaurd. The third song Yendhuko... has just begun. Till now except for Charantej's dances nothing is so impressive. The heroine seems to be a big let down for the Movie(worst heroine selection for 2nd time~1st time is SDZ)

The movie is OK so far. The action sequences are lengthy and basically there is no story to grip the audience. The much known Puri comedy has been missing. Charantej looks promising but the rest all are not upto the mark!

After the Interval Hero and Heroine get lost on an Island. The Scenes between the Lead Pair are good. Charantej has more dailogues in the second half of the movie. The fourth Song Maro..Maro..(pakka massss song .. steps are OK) is going on now! mani's music is Xcellent.Dances in all the songs till now are ok.

The teasing Scenes between the Hero and Heroine are good. The way the Hero proposes his love to the Heroine is shown in a very good way. There is a scene between MS Narayana and Dharmavarapu where MS Narayana hints not to judge any person in the first look. The fifth Song Love u ra.. has started.

Hero tells his flash back to the heroine. Prakash Raj comes and takes away his daugther from the Hero. The dailodues between Prakashraj and the heroine are also good. The sixth song Chiruthosthe... is going on now.

The tempo picks up a bit towards the end but again the Climax of the movie is a bit dragged. The theme is inspired from Chiranjeevi's KHAIDI. At the end of the Movie fans are satisfied with Charantej's acting and dancing skills. They strongly believe they have another Hero in the making. The major disappointments are the Story, heroine and Lack of Entertainment throughout the Movie. Lets wait and see how the Movie fares at the Box-Office as the Movie has got enormous hype and attention all over the State. Stay tuned for the complete Review tommorow!

ATHIDI AUDIO REVIEW !!

1. Khabaddhar ani.. Sirivennela / Naveen - 3.75/5

Interesting composition interspersed with Hindi and English lyrics, it is a rousing call to eliminate evil. You can hear some of the beats from Athadu and Pokiri that made those album huge hits if you listen closely enough, but Mani still manages to keep it original. This is another title song that Mahesh’s fans will cheer. Mani does not skimp on the drums nor does he skimp on the Christian style chants.

2. Gona..Gona.. Chandrabose / Naveen, Rita - 3.75/5

Hip hop style with fast, peppy beats are the hallmark of this composition. Another instant chartbuster, this is going be another one to dance in the aisles for. The lyrics are again easy listening and fun to remember

3. Sathyam Emito... Sirivennala / Deepu, Usha - 4/5

The most lyrically profound song of the album penned by Sirivennela. Only he could come up with such philosophical poetry. One of the most interesting compositions in recent times, it is difficult to slot this song in a particular genre. You don’t come across such songs often. The slow music gels completely with the lyrics. Mahesh fans would have enjoyed Sahasam Swasaga in Okkadu. Similary, Satyam is another one to cherish.

4. Killadi koona.. Viswa / Karthik, Rita - 3.5/5

The starting piano tunes are fabulous and then Mani tunes into a catchy, peppy beat for this duet. A youthful composition in both music and lyrics, this will be an instant hit among the youth. Mani shows a lot of variation in the music for this song.

5. Rathrayina ok.. Bhaskarabhatla / Naveen, Anushka - 4/5

Middle eastern style music beats for this item song are enchanting and foot tapping. If you enjoyed Guru’s Maiyya, Maiyya, you will enjoy this song too. This is probably the most mass song of Mahesh ever lyrics wise.

6. Valla.. Valla... Chandrabose / Rahul Nambiar, Dharshana - 3.75/5

Fast beats, catchy tunes and a youthful tenor to this song make it another immediate hit. The lyrics are also easy to catch on to. This duet will be an instant chartbuster and one to dance in the aisles for. .

OVERALL VERDICT ::

This album is another chartbuster from Manisharma. There is not a single disappointing track and every track is one that fans will enjoy!!

Ghattamaneni Goutham Krishna, the only son of Maheshbabu and Namrata Shirodkar, will make his first public appearance soon. He will be the chief guest at the music launch of Krishna Productions Pvt. Ltd.'s Athidi, starring Maheshbabu and Amrita Rao in the lead roles.

The music, composed by Mani Sharma, will be launched at a special function to be held at Hotel Viceroy, now Marriott on Thursday, September 27, 2007.

Produced by G. Rameshbabu, Athidi is presented by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by Surender Reddy with cinematography by Sameer Reddy, action by Stun Shiva and dialogues by Abburi Ravi. Supreme Music has acquired the music rights of the film.

some ramblings about the movie::

Vikram starrer Kandasamy will go to floors on 23 September. movie would be a bilingual one. According to sources, the film is simultaneously being shot in Tamil and Telugu.

With Shreya, the latest sensation of Kollywood and Tollywood acting opposite Vikram, the movie has been titled Mallanna in Telugu.

Director Susi Ganesan, who is wielding megaphone for the movie had recently been to Kenya and other countries to pick out exotic locations to picturise Kandasamy. Kalaipuli S Thanu will produce the film.

Vikram is apparently playing a kleptomaniac in the film, due to which he undergoes some problems and also finishes off the villain gang that is involved in atrocities.

The film is very much like a ‘Chandamama’. First half is like full moon fortnight and second half is like New Moon fortnight. This waxing and waning is reflected in the film.

Story:
Maha Lakshmi (Kajal) is the daughter of Ranga Rao (Naga Babu) who lives in a village. Ranga Rao is a rich land lord of the place. Rama Lingeshwara Rao (Ahuti Prasad) is another land lord who is a dipsomaniac and flirt. But he is not harmful to anyone. His son is Dora Babu (Siva Balaji) who is very good natured. Elders decide marriage for Maha Lakshmi and Dora Babu. Maha Rani (Sindhu Menon) is the daughter of Ranga Rao’s younger brother. She is very active and eccentric.

After arranging the marriage Maha Lakshmi reveals her past to Dora Babu. She says that she spent a night with Kishore (Navadeep), her friend in the city where she studied. Listening to that, Dora Babu drinks to the full and hits by an accident. That’s the interval shot. But the second half goes in hilarity without any serious things. Who marries Maha Lakshmi? Whate happens to Kishore and Dora Babu? What happens has to be watched on screen!

Performances:
Navadeep is good in his role. He acted very well in first half but in second half the scope to act is very less. Shiva Balaji is just ok. Kajal looked good and her performance is also up to the mark. Sindhu Menon is average.

Ahuti Prasad swept the entire show with his diction and slang. There are no routine set of comedians but Ahuti Prasad filled the gap on single hand.

Naga Babu is apt as reserved elder man and father of Kajal. Radha Kumari’s dialogues and comedy are also subtle.

SM Radha Krishnan’s music is appealing for class audiences again. No song is catchy and none could din in the ears after coming out from theatres. But the picturing of songs is very good. Especially, the first song with Kajal and Shiva Balaji and another one of ‘muddu’ are good.

The hard nuts in narration are:
The set of foreigners living in Nagababu’s house in the village
Characterization of Sindhu Menon

Good things to underline:
Ahuti Prasad’s character- he did wonderful job by delivering dialogues in East Godavari slang with perfect sink.
Radha Kumari’s character is also interesting as grand mother to Shiva Balaji.
Navadeep’s acting in first half.
No violence and vengeance in the film.

Analysis:
The film starts at very good pace but suffers from various bumps in narration. First half goes smooth but second half is elastic. The climax is quite routine and in tune with the expectations of mundane audiences. Krishna Vamshi has chosen a wrong line of story and he failed to develop proper characterizations to lead roles.

Krishna Vamshi is known for showing typical mannerisms on his characters. He also puts a female role that shows eccentricity in behavior like Charmy in Sree Anjaneyam. In this film he has chosen Sindhu Menon for that.

Here in ‘Chandamam’, he made a confused concoction by mixing two things. Initially he intends to give a message that Indians are forgetting their culture but foreigners are getting attracted for the same. But finally, the conclusion is ‘let younger ones marry the ones they love and needn’t bend to whims of elders’. There appears to be some lack of clarity at the end.

We have to see how far the patronage of audiences will be extended for this film.

Chandamama stars Navdeep, Sivabalaji, Kajal and Sindhu Menon-all of them relatively new, with little star value. It is directed by Krishna Vamsi, who has given huge hits and is one of the few directors who can draw audiences to the theatre on his name. Chandamama is one of those 'family entertainers', meaning it is clean, wholesome and has dashes of everything-humor, love, sentiment, characters and music. It is in the same boat as Murari or even his earlier blockbuster, Ninne Pelladatha. But it is on a smaller scale, meaning there is lesser star value, good but not record breaking music, sentiment but no extra doses of melodrama.

Sindhu Menon and Kajal Plot Ranga Rao's (Nagababu) daughter Mahalaxmi (Kajal) finishes her studies in the city and comes back to her village. Her wedding is fixed, and the groom is Dora Babu (Sivabalaji), son of Ramalingeswara Rao (Ahuti Prasad). She confesses to him about falling in love with Kishore (Navdeep), a guy in the city, who apparently 'cheats' her. Dora Babu goes to the city to seek Kishore out and teach him a lesson. What he ends up doing is getting him to his village. A quadrangle involving these three and Rani (Sindhu Menon), Mahalaxmi's cousin is formed, and the confusion begins.

Story, Screenplay and Direction The story is quite simple; and very predictable after a point, especially the climax. The movie passes most of its screen time in some light humor, father-daughter relationship is in focus, Kishore's happy-go-lucky nature which creates most of the moments in the movie. You prepare yourself for a blast of melodrama during the climax, but it never comes. Remember NP or Murari? The climax has a lot of crying, screaming, shouting, sweat and blood. Here, none of that appears.

It's an old storyline and the conflict is seen in too many movies before. So many aspects of Murari are used here, including the village set up and characters. Sivabalaji's father, played by Ahuti Prasad and Kishore played by Navdeep are trademark Krishna Vamsi characters and hence fun to watch. The two lead pairs have done well and that's a plus for the movie.

The scene in the hospital with Sivabalaji and family, the first fight between Navdeep and Sivabalaji and Navdeep's constant stalking of Kajal when they first meet is entertaining. The incessant screaming (with glee) that both the girls do is off-putting, but then most of the heroines in Krishna Vamsi's movies do that (Tabu in NP). What all those foreigners are doing in a small village is anyone's guess.

Navdeep and Sivabalaji Performances Ahuti Prasad's character and performance stands out in the movie. Nagababu is adequate, and it's possibly one of his better performances. Navdeep is convincing and is definitely one of the better actors in the younger gen. Sivabalaji is good, and plays his part well. Kajal is good and the rawness visible in her first flick has vanished. Sindhu Menon dances well and suits her role. Radha Kumari as Sivabalaji's grandmother is cast in a typical role and does a good job as does Uttej, as a singing wanderer in the village.

Music and Dance The music by KM Radhakrishnan is not disappointing and the picturization of three of the songs is good.

Last Word Nothing much really happens, and the two love stories and the slight conflict is dealt easily in the end, without too much hungama. The movie is simple, sweet and feel-good.
